This position reports on a day-to-day basis to the Quality SupervisorDuties And ResponsibilitiesFunctions
Uses measurement, test equipment and functional gages to determine if product meets all stated requirements during the receiving inspection, manufacturing (Weld/Machining/Coating) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
Verify if the raw material properties are accordance external standards.
Issues and close NCR/CAPA for products or process that doesn’t meet the stated requirements.
Audit the processes according to the Work Instruction.
Perform and control the weld inspection process.
Interpret NDE reports.
Identifies and maintains inspection and test status as needed.
Elaborate and keep inspection and test records as required.
Verify all important variables included in a weld process; Works as a team member when performing or witnessing inspections and/or testing for internal and external customers, third parties, customer’s inspectors, and engineering/manufacturing representative according to the Quality Plan.

Experience
A minimum of 2 years Working in an environment based in ISO 9001. (Essential)
A minimum of 1 year working in an environment based in OHSAS 18001. (Preferred) Ability to audit the processes according to the Work Instruction. (Essential)
Above average in interpreting mechanical drawings (Essential)
Dimensional inspection:
Experience with General Receiving Inspection (Essential) Experience measuring Machining Parts (Essential)
Experience to use general measure equipment related to dimensional inspection. (Essential) Experience using FARO Arm. (Preferred)
Weld Inspection:
Elaborate and Verify Weld Maps (Essential)
Elaborate and verify Weld Data Collection Form (Essential) Perform Visual and Dimensional Inspection (Essential) Control the Qualifications of the Welders (Essential) Control the performance of the Welders (Essential)
Control and interpretation of the WPS (Essential)
NDT/NDE
Knowledge of NDE/NDT. (Preferred)
Electrical Test:
Analyze the results of the tests against the criteria. (Preferred) Coating Inspection:
Experience with coating inspection process, (Visual, Thickness and Adherence). (Preferred)
Pressure Test:
