  • Demonstrate extensive experience on large deepwater and pipelay installation;
  • IMIST Qualification;
  • NEBOSH - Preferred.
Knowledge and/or Experience:
  • 10 years minimum subsea ultra- deepwater offshore installation experience.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of marine activities involving DP3 Pipelay Vessel, DP3 Heavy Subsea Construction Vessels DP2 MSVs.
  • Fluent English
Key Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for monitoring operations and conducting formal daily inspection/audits and when required assist on reviews of risk assessments, lift plans, toolbox talks.
  • Participate in offshore incident reporting and investigations as required ensuring that reports are of a high quality and lessons learned are disseminated to the required target audiences.
  • Attend and participate in daily end of shift construction meetings.
  • Provide coaching and training to the site team and ensure that all project participants are provided with the HSE tools and knowledge to allow them to work within the safe operating envelope of Angolan legislation, procedures, and best practice competence.
  • Support the Offshore Company Representative in ensuring project site compliance with Angolan legislation, CPY policies, guidance toward best practice, and in doing so monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the approved HSE objectives including all project HSE performance data and reporting requirements that could become required.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with Contractor HSE personnel to assist in delivering project and construction HSE Objectives and achieve a high level of HSE CPY satisfaction.
  • Assist and participate as directed by the Project Senior HSE Advisor with the implementation of all aspects of the HSE Activity Plan, HSE objectives and HSE requirements on site.
  • Conduct training, auditing, coaching and support offshore employees and subcontractors to assist them in achieving the high standards of HSE performance required by the project.
  • Assist with PTW issuance /communication with other infield entities /FPSO, Rigs) and take record.
